The 2006 Men's Soccer Season is approaching fast and the excitement of beginning a new season is here! Each day new and returning players are showing up to campus and all the work of bringing together the team has begun. It is amazing that the time has already arrived...where did the summer go. On Saturday, August 12th, all the players will officially check in by taking care of all the administrative paperwork and moving into the dorms. At 6:30pm, the soccer season will officially begin with our first official team meeting followed by the fitness test and on to 4-a-day workouts for pre-season training. On Wednesday, August 16th, we will have our first intrasquad scrimmage with the winning team getting to eat steaks and the losing team having to resort to beans; a game which we call the "Steak & Beans Game". Following the scrimmage, the team will meet together for a little bonding via the first annual DWU Men's Soccer Karaoke Contest. Everything is coming together quickly and well...let the excitement begin. We hope to make our community, college, and families proud by "utilizing our pride to perform at a level above and beyond our ability". It is going to be a very fun year!

DWU Men's Soccer Photo Album
- The 2007 Dakota Wesleyan University Men's Soccer Team enters its 2nd season as a member of the GPAC Conference. The Tigers have been selected to finish 3rd in the GPAC according to the Pre-Season Polls. This special group of young men have demonstrated great success on the field as well as off the field through demonstrating the core values of the NAIA "Champions of Character" iniative. The DWU Men's Soccer Team are recipients of the 2006 NAIA Champions of Character Award.
